Tax Day is over. Want to see how your tax dollars are spent?
Check out the White House Taxpayer Receipt. 3.30 percent was spent on Education and Job Training. Of course National Defense received the largest budget at 24.64 percent. Second was Healthcare at 22.45 percent.
I would like to see more invested in Education and Job Training. In a recent comparison to student performance in 57 countries the US fell behind.
If America is to continue to be a superpower , we must have the best and the brightest in academia. US students were behind Finland in math and science. US was also behind Hong Kong, Taiwan and Canada.
