Jesse Benton is Rand Paul's nephew. He heads Rand Paul's,"America's Liberty PAC."The Department of Justice indicted Jesse Benton for concealing payments made to former Iowa state senator Kent Sorenson. In 2011 Kent Sorenson dropped his endorsement of Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota to endorse former Representative Ron Paul of Texas.
Also indicted are John Tate, who was Ron Paul's campaign manager and is presently working with the pro-Rand Paul super PAC, and Dimitri Kesari, who was Ron Paul's deputy National Campaign Manger.
