Paul Kevin Curtis arrested for allegedly sending ricin tainted letters to President Obama and other government officials was released.
The 45 year old Elvis impersonator was arrested after three letters with the poison were mailed. One letter was intercepted before it reached President Obama. A letter was mailed to Mississippi Republican Senator Roger Wicker, and a letter was mailed to Lee County, Mississippi Justice Of the Peace, Sadie Holland.
Officials said that the signature on the letters matched other letters and online postings of Curtis, who signs "I am KC and I approve this message."
Another man is being investigated at this time. The entertainer said that he was framed and he believes that he knows who did it. Someone that he has not met personally, but who has followed him and spoken to friends about how much he hates Curtis. The impersonator said that he and his mother are relieved that this nightmare is over. During a news conference Paul Kevin Curtis stated "I respect President Obama and love my country. I would never do anything to pose a threat to him or any other U.S. official."
