The City Of Los Angeles has reached a $4.2 million dollar settlement with two women who were injured when police mistook their pickup truck for that of Ex LAPD Officer Christopher Dorner. The police opened fire on the two women Margie Carranza and her 71 year old mother Emma Hernandez, while they were sitting in the truck. The ladies were out delivering papers. Their truck was hit with at least 100 rounds and Hernandez was hit in the back.
City Attorney Carmen Trutanich announced the sum to KNBC TV Los Angeles, and the attorney of the women confirmed the amount to the Associated Press.
