Arizona mother of 7, Yanira Maldonado, was arrested in Mexico on drug smuggling charges last Wednesday. 12 Pounds of marijuana was found under her bus seat when she and her husband Gary were returning to Arizona from her aunt's funeral. Her family believes that she was framed in order to get bribe money.
In an appearance on CNN's Pierce Morgan Tonight, Yanira's daughter said about her mother, "She's an honest woman. She's innocent. It's not a place for someone of her kind. "It hurts just to know that she's there, to have seen her there. It's not fair." Soto says that her mother has nothing to do with drugs.
