Kadillak Kaz is from the West Coast. He grew up in Southern California during the time of gang violence, drugs and racial tensions. Growing up in the midst of utter confusion, music and writing became Kadillak's passion. At an early age, he took to the pen as an outlet to express his pain and frustration. His lyrics reflect his life experiences and his faith in GOD, which gave him the determination to rise above his circumstances. He hopes that he can inspire others with similar backgrounds to stay strong and persevere.
Kadillak has performed with legendary hip hop recording artists such as Raekwon, Pharcyde, Jayo Felony, Kurupt, Roscoe, Sleepy Brown, Sugar Free, Bad Azz, W.C., Ice Cube, Mack 10, Cashis and Jon B.
His first solo project titled “Cash Out or Mash Out,” included hits “Bedda Learn Bout It,” “Godda Do” & “Here 4 U.”
Kadillak's second album is titled “The Coldest Winter Ever." On this record, he collaborated with artists Mac Lucci, Eastwood, Tri Star, and others. The project has gained a strong following in Japan, Germany, Paris, Canada and Africa.
Kadillak also released his first mix tape “Hood Legacy Vol. 12." He co-hosted with DJ Kingflow of Paris, DJ Danny of Germany and “Lak N Load” hosted by Dj Wizkid.
